Area 51 Maverick XL on Steelies.

Great picture, that actually looks like, Area 51. I have seen other pictures and it looks baby blue. But this looks pretty darn close. Love it!!!! It’s going to look great with the black wheels. It’s just wears black very good.

I checked out a few Mavericks tonight. Two were Alto Blue and two were Area 51's. For the Area 51's, one was an EB the other was a Hybrid. Here are some pics....

I spotted this first edition Area 51 Bronco Sport. Seeing the color in person I was so happy I went with the Area 51 with the FX4 package for those black wheels. I love it so much!
I do plan on removing the FX4 decal. I don't think the red will go well with the overall look.

Saw my first maverick in the wild today. Lariat Ecoboost AWD area 51. Fort street in Lincoln park Michigan heading south. Followed it for a bit. It had manufacturer plates and looked incredibly dirty. As I got closer and passed it I could tell what I thought was dirt was adhesive residue likely from it being previously under camo. Seeing it on the street really got me excited! Now I just have to wait for my hybrid xlt lux to be scheduled... Some day..

I'm still leaning with A51 XL Hybrid with the steelies -- when I upgrade (later) to Falken Wildpeak AT3w's, then I'll consider some other (maybe black?) wheels...

Or maybe I'll just roll with those Pimpin' Ain't Easy steelies forever???

I ordered mine last weekend. My biggest concern about the XLT is the blue/gray/orange interior and whether it goes with any of the exterior colors at all. What would Area 51 look like with some orange accents (not neon orange) on the outside, maybe the MAVERICK lettering on the tailgate?
