I ordered a base hybrid XL with only a drop-in bedliner in October 2021 and after being lied to by Ford about a September 5 build date and TEN changes, am now looking at not getting it until February 2023 at the earliest. Are any of you still waiting on June, July, or August 2021 orders? Any plain ole base hybrids?

Edit - just picked it up. Super happy! Leif Johnson Ford in Austin honored price at time of order and even got rebate to boot.

What makes you think February at the earliest?

Yeah, I've been converted but have absolutely no idea when I'm getting built. Was told I'm going towards the front of the que but no guarantees. After a year of waiting getting a bit weary. It was a weird October with my build date being a moving target and then the ugly realization of the end of the '22. My '22.

Sept 2022 Finally got a vin and 10/31 build date... then 11/14... then 12/12.


At this point I think there's less than 50% chance Ford has ANY plan to ever build me a truck.

July 21 XLT Hybrid order sitting at the dealer while they figure out how to install the recall airbag. I laughed when I read a post stating the airbag replacement would take about five hours. Two weeks and counting. What's another week when I've been waiting 1.5 years, lol.
