I received my order confirmation on 8/20, but nothing since then. Anyone know how long before production or how to find out ?

You won't receive any further status updates from Ford until you are given a scheduled production date. Ford's email notification system has been a bit sketch so you can call your dealer and have them check the status of the order or call Ford directly.

my dealer really hasnt been too helpful. They have called me twice to see if I want to buy a Maverick they have on the lot ( way more $$$), but no info on my order.

If XLT Hybrid are the only options on your order, depending on how many orders your dealer has before you, I would expect you to get scheduled one of these first weeks in March. That's just based on what orders I have seen scheduled over the last month. There's a lot of variables that go into it, but goodluck.
I had order confirmation of 8/18 and got a email for a build date right before the chip delays everyone got about 6 weeks ago. Fortunately my production date moved up after those delays to 3/14. Let's hope that sticks. My order was first at my dealer though, pretty small dealer.
