Top Gun 2 was filmed several years ago but keeps getting delayed due to covid. I think it was going to come out Memorial weekend in 2020, then thanksgiving then on and on. Its now coming out November 2021 but who knows. I remember reading about it in Popular Mechanics probably 2 years ago. Isn’t the F18 getting phased out for the F35. I know the keep trying to drop planes but the F35 may not be as great as advertised.

Gotta admit that one goes over my head and when I Google it my results are so tuned to pulling research data from ncbi all I get are juvenile diabetes links

I tried for GBOLY or GBOLX but the 2nd was flagged as rude (bolx I guess) and that made LY suspect (in fact the are the tail numbers if the Cessna 172s I learned to fly in) I think everyone thought it was funny to have the American guy fly “Lima Yankee” and if you don’t know what BOLX (bollocks) are, ask your dad. Though we just called it Lima X-Ray
