Those measurements are awesome! Any way you can measure the width and length of the under seat storage? I'd like to start planning a subwoofer box...
Are you getting a Lariat or Hybrid? If you are getting a hybrid then you lose some of that storage space for the 12v battery.

So much good content here. A lot of really helpful measurements.

Only thing I keep noticing are those fabric front wheel well liners. Really hope to see an aftermarket, plastic option available.
I remember someone posted on the forum that there is a company (Husky?) that is planning on making wheel liners for the Maverick.

Well the rim is the same size, 17", making it a full size spare. The width and depth are smaller dimensionally, and the rim is not the same as on the truck so it won't match. You and everyone else will know you have the spare on the truck. I wonder if the spare is rated for full use or temporary use?

WHHHHAAAATT!

Ford Maverick XLT/Lariat.. Undecided still :O
I would imagine they would be within an inch or two at the most. I don't recall the FX4 specs stating it sat higher. However, keep in mind that this model has the 18" wheels on it whereas the XL and XLT have 17" so they will slightly lower.
Wheel diameter doesn't determine height, it's the overall tire diameter that will determine any difference.

I doubt I've ended the controversy, but can't say I didn't try! :)
How was there a controversy about the bed measurement?
I keep reading that but it seems stupid.

Interesting, the full-size spare is smaller than the installed tires.

I might as well cancel the full size spare and put that $150 toward a matching rim and tire.
Do you use your spare as part of your tire rotation plan?

Someone else had posted a picture similar to what I posted, but because you couldn't see if the tape measure was actually straight all the way down the truck bed the measurement was thought to be...unreliable. However, I believe all the replies about the post were just made in fun. I just decided to try and miss out on that fun by showing the tape was indeed straight the whole length of the truck bed.

Hah it was more of a joke than an actual controversy. The original guy who posted the length was quite trustworthy, but people could not figure out how with a bed length of 54" and a tailgate height of 20" they measured length could be 79ish inches. Answer is, its a door, so it pivots.

Heh, knew I'd find one as soon as I saw that pic ;)

Oh come on, hope you're joking?

In the odd chance you're not; that is the cost of loading up a Maverick with a ton of features. AWD, LARIAT, FX4, LUX. All of those add-ons SUBTRACT from total payload.
Not to mention the bed cover.

The non-FX4 Lariat gets the 18" wheels, the FX4 unique wheels are 17" with the package. I don't understand how the FX4 gets you smaller and skinnier, but I guess to try and entice people to upgrade to the $800 alloy wheel/tire package for the 235s.
