Traded in the EcoSport and picked up our new Maverick yesterday, seems a bit of an anticlimax after waiting and reading about them for so long. It's just a car - there are more important things in life!
Seems OK, it's big! Just fits in the garage with no room to spare.

I'll miss the EcoSport, a competent vehicle, plenty of passenger space, not much luggage space (but still more than the Maverick), main disappointment was the gas milage, looking forward to better with the Mav.

Asked the dealer not to install the front license plate holder. Front end looks good.

Clunky looking tow hitch, I didn't order the tow package - I guess it came with the Lux package. Happy to find it didn't come with a hole in the roof (moon roof), hate them.
Desert Brown interior and bronze highlights not as bad as I thought it would be.

Wife likes it because it's Blue, Mugsy dog likes it because he thinks we are going somewhere, he'll get his chance to get hair all over it soon!
I've got to keep it for six months (A plan purchase) we will see how we get along.

Another thing. You REALLY have to watch out for is that the interior plastic scratches VERY easily. Never seen anything like it in any other vehicle I've ever owned. Don't know if Ford used some kind of recycled plastic or what.

Thanks, I must admit I thought the power sliding rear window was a bit pointless. I thought the whole rear window dropped down!

Great accessory links! +1 for the center console tray. Got one of those and it’s very helpful for storing small items and there’s still lots of room left in the bottom for bigger items
Phone mount:
This was posted in another thread but adding it here as it’s an easy way to mount a phone close to the infotainment center. When there’s direct sun on the phone, I’ll move it the the lower tray since when the phone gets too hot, it will stop charging and/or functioning until it cools down

I didn’t open the rear window for months and then I discovered the great cross breeze when it was open. I’d say my rear window is open 90% of the time when temps are above 50°

That’s correct, it’s an option on all trims not standard. Plus it’s been a constrained option for quite a while.
