Added a "pocket" to store my iPad mini "head unit" for the stock look, also added some magnets to the passenger side dash. I decided to add the storage when parking for longer times or in places where an iPad might be tempting for someone to break in for. The dash magnets just came to me while I was looking at it, it was simple enough to do and didn't change the truck at all and the kids like that it's closer for them to pick music or play games/watch a movie on.
It's a simple set up, I added magnets to the black frame around the screen, added a wooden lip painted black to hold the bottom and added magnets to the back of the iPad mini, haven't had it fall off once. I also routed a lightning cable through the otherwise useless cubby to keep it charged.
