I just received and installed the Access Truck Bed Mat for my Maverick XLT Hybrid. I thought I would share my experience and opinion for this product. First off, I was surprised as to how light the mat is. The shipping document listed it at 7 lbs. but it seems lighter than that. Included with the mat were two options for securing the mat to the bed of the truck. The mat has seven snaps built into the mat. There are three along the rear by the tailgate, two more midway by the wheelwells, and two more in the corners by the front bulkhead. You can drill starter holes to screw the snaps to the bed or use 3M tape snaps to stick to the bed. Since the instructions recommend the temperature be above 60 degrees F for the 3M snaps, I elected to drill holes since it would be May before I see warmer weather. It took about twenty minutes to drill all seven holes. Note: The bed metal isn't very thick so slow steady pressure on the drill is advised. My truck does have two floor mounted D-rings by the front bulkhead and the mat came with pre-cut holes to allow the D-rings to slide through. That was a nice feature for it makes it look like a clean and custom fit. I've ordered a Lomax hard cover tri-fold tonneau to finish my project. About he only thing that will go in the bed will be my golf crap so I'm not too concerned about heavy hauling and durability.
