Working fine, parked it and 2 days later went to drive and no AC. Tried all settings. I searched for threads but could not find any. EB.

Hi there, I'd be happy to look into your Maverick concerns on my end. Will you send us a message with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into things on my end.

Check fuse 17 in the under hod fuse box. That one is specifically for the ac compressor.
Thanks for that. Checked it with meter, 10 amp, ok. man, it’s a bit to get to the fuse. Compressor kicks on. Looked up other threads, a bad hose built in March 23. Same as mine. Looks like the dealer.🤔

Bad news, turns out to be rodents🐀🐁🐀😢😢.
$800 for a harness. I could just throw up over it. Daughter says first world problems. In perspective no one hurt, no Mavs totaled, no train wrecks... but damn it stings. It’s just money, yes mine! Bought a bunch of traps...they ate the cap on the HP injection pump and the windshield washer bottle as well as some wire.

Do you live out in the country?
Not the OP but this can happen in the city or suburbs.

On my 1998 Ford Ranger XLT SuperCab I had rodents eat wiring under the hood that caused mis-fires.

The Ranger was parked in front of my house here in Coppell, TX on a quiet cul-de-sac.

The first time it happened I didn't believe that it was rodents.

The second time it happened I was a believer.

$750 in repairs for both incidents.

Bought a bottle of Fox Spray and put in a dispenser under the hood to keep it from happening again.

Any place in the engine compartment where it doesn't get overly hot. Also in the cab, behind the back seat by the air exhaust outlet. Some people have posted on MTC that mice also ate through the screen on the outlet and got in the cab through there.

No Mav yet for me, the outlet screen is for the air

Your auto insurance will cover this, and likely at no deductible
