Yea that's a very thorough review. He also did one at 50k I believe.

Gonna watch it later, but I think this video will be more of a testament to the 2.0L EcoBoost engine if anything. I own a 4G Escape with the 1.5L engine going on 72k miles. EcoBoosts are good as long as you at least follow the maintenance schedule.

I like watching his videos since he does a pretty good job of highlighting his experiences with the Maverick given that he drives a lot for his job, so 80k miles already is a good barometer of what to expect for a heavy use case Maverick.

Crazy enough is that he doesn’t run a catch can on his engine apparently.

…or that he didn’t get the hybrid, with all those miles.

10 mpg diff means an extra 667 gallons over 80k miles. $2670 potential savings (@ $4/gal). No catch can needed.

If you have seen his videos, you would know a 2wd just wouldnt be possible for him.

I will say Tbf to Daniel Deliverz, I’ve watched some of his vids and I believed he mentioned needing to be able to tow around 4K often. Hybrid unfortunately can’t do that.

(Man I wish I could though 😁)

I think I was the first guy to link his channel here almost a year ago. He did some fun stuff in the snow, hauling bikes and quads. Great guy. Down to earth. Honest.

IDK but he has a new Video saying That his Transmission broke at 90k miles.
He just Delete that video and he Turned chats off on all his videos.

Probably cuz There is too much proof that he was abusing his truck IDK.

I just want to know What really is going to happen to our trucks at 90k miles!!

I searched (Transmission) in this forum and most of the people who have a transmission issue, problem are related to Max hauling or Max Payload weight.
I watched some of Daniel's videos and he was very aggressive with his truck in Some of the videos.
It's not fair To blame the Maverick for such failures.
