600 Miles Per Tank Hybrid Maverick club

So here we are, five miles from officially getting 600 miles per tank on the hybrid with a little left in the tank…. Anyone else approaching 600 miles per tank? ( yes I realize driving style and conditions vary, but hey…it’s still great mileage)

Not yet for me, but I am getting fairly close and I really enjoy the truck so all good.

I get phenomenal mileage in the back roads in Ohio. No traffic lets me cheese by barely making it up hills and coasting down the other side.

I almost got 600 on last fill up, computer estimates 643 on this one!

Auto brake hold. I was stopped when I took this photo.

You can turn it on by pressing a button by the shifter. It will keep the truck stopped at red lights or stop signs.

Thanks , I had not used that feature , so new symbol. My Toyota has a red circular A that signifies stop/start function turned off.

I just filled up for the second time last night with about 60 miles to empty. Next goal is the 700 club.

My recent commute home:

I miss the power of the EcoBoost but I'm now filling my tank about once a month vs once a week. The hybrid offers amazing value for the price and I have absolutely no regrets on the swap.

The Hybrid range is an apples-to-oranges comparison to the eco boost. People are pumping out 600 city miles in the Hybrid.

It's notable how much better the Hybrid mileage is in the city than on the open highway. Of course the opposite is true with the eco boost. The EB could have a very long range on all highway and easily beat the Hybrids highway range with the bigger tank?

Only if the Hybrid had the same size tank as an EB, we be getting easily 800 miles city.

That's my first dealership gas tank. Bought with 9 miles on odometer. And new full tank of gas.

Driving mainly on slippery mode.

Got 18200 miles so far highest I've seen was 569..... I'm just glad to get over 500!


Mostly been driving on normal mode... Only the Previous month have I been hitting Economy mode.. Get anywhere from 50-58mpg driving in town. Slower I drive the better the gas mileage.

They’re good on gas. Guess-o-meter says 47 MPG average. I should be able to hit 600.

I'm not trying to get to 600. Anything over 500 is good for me. Supposed to enjoy driving the truck and not 'babying' it to milk the mpg.

Yup….warmer weather is it’s friend….. i drive normal, obey the speed limits and gas up when the light comes on
