Not bad! Perfect for 4pm traffic down the 405 fwy. Now let’s give these bad boys the oktb!
I see you’re a fellow Clipper fan. Can’t wait to commute with our Mavericks to the new stadium in Inglewood. That driver is gonna be a killer, but at least we’ll get good MPG.:)

Dang, for a minute my bubble was flying high and the you burst it. This hybrid was doing a slow speed pass around downtown Nashville at an average of about 14mph (100 minutes of driving to cover 50 miles)
Maybe he was in bumper to bumper traffic? If so, I would say that’s really good.

Yeah look a little closer. Is that saying he took 1 hour 41 minutes to drive 50 miles?? Sure you can get 50mpg if you're driving that slow lol
Wonder how many times he got flipped off on the highway :ROFLMAO:

[Referring to my deceased aunt] A regular pillar of the community uh. :)
With gratuitously insulting comments like that, it's no wonder you predict your future like this:
I'm building a camper and hitting the road, hope to die somewhere quiet alone
My aunt (that "pillar of the community" you ridicule) was born into a poor East Texas family over a hundred years ago. She lived through the depression and did what she could to make her way in the world. And at the end -- pay attention to this -- she died at peace with friends and family around.

So go ahead. Trade in your Honda Fit for what you hope will be your lonely funeral bier. Best of luck.

In the :poop: FW part of DFW I shouldn't have any trouble beating his 50mpg it's the 14 mph average that will be almost impossible to even match

Same boat. I actually just fixed another break-line leak (4th one) in my Impala today. But I am not a mechanic and I really need this Maverick to show up by the end of the year before my current car kills me.
CarMax just gave me a bonkers quote for my Fusion so I might actually have to scramble to flip it to them before they come to their senses. Then try to get by on the $500 '03 Malibu my coworker has until the Maverick gets scheduled and arrives. 😬

Any of y'all ever driven Tennessee? Sounds like he was cruising the 'burbs which typically have 45-55 speed limits and lots of stop lights. I don't think the average posted sounds crazy.

Mike Levine drove 50 miles in Nashville and got 50mpg. I think hybrid owners will be very happy.

A W E S O M E

He averaged 29.9 MPH over those 50.8 miles.

The 40 MPG number for city driving that Ford is shooting for should be easily doable.

For those of you paying attention he has 466 miles to empty. This is calculated bt average mpg over the last 500. He has just shy of a full tank. So let's call it 13 gallons. 466/13 equals 35....that is damn good
You have to then assume he filled it to the maximum capacity to work backwards.

Currently, my Ford Maverick hybrid gets zero miles to the gallon. Of course, it only vaguely exists now in the memory banks of some distant Ford scheduling computer and its future birth date known only to God.

50 miles downhill.
Just kidding it can be done the city, but trying to hyper-mile in traffic is infuriating to those behind you.
