If you keep your Hybrid Mav until 120,000 miles you will pay $4200 less for fuel vs. the 2.0 FWD. The main differences are HP and fuel tank size.
I know, I know. Millions of different variables can effect mpg.

I've calculated that considering fuel, upfront cost, and interest/opportunity cost, the hybrid is likely to save an owner about $10-15K over 10 years of ownership compared to the AWD EB. So, about $100/mo.

Sounds very feasible.

And what if you get 39mpg at 70mph?

If fuel economy is the most important factor in choosing a truck then the hybrid is definitely the way to go.

The functionality of the AWD Ecoboost with 4K towing beat out milage for me.

The 4K if you need it, for sure. I initially calculated the hybrid vs AWD calculation to show the "cost" versus the "value" for marginal AWD user cases (i.e., standard winter driving). It's why I've never really thought of AWD as essential for me in MN, I've been driving in the upper Midwest for almost 30 years (most of that with FWD), and there's maybe once a year where I feel like I want AWD, and that's not worth the cost to me (especially with the huge cost delta for the Maverick).

What number of driven mile estimates did you use in your calculations?
