40+ MPG @ 70+ MPH - NASCAR Style! 100+ Mile Drive to work!(everyday)

I had my best trip yet. I was able to "draft" a bus at ~70MPH getting over 40MPG. 100+ mile trip. This my trip to/from work every day!

I can normally run 40MPG @ 65MPH

What setting was it on where you could see average and current MPG at the same time?

Congrats! But jeez I'm glad I don't have a 100 mile commute to work everyday!!

On the XL when on the trip 1 or 2 press the menu on the wheel and pick custom(I believe).

I removed time and added mpg.

I cant remember exact names as I am not in the vehicle.

I diidn't find custom. I'll ask the dealer next week too.

DON'T do it. I am a long time motorcycle rider. What I learned from that is semis and even busses throw stones directly behind them into the air. I know this from getting hit by them riding a motorcycle. You will get stone chips. I keep hearing how weak the paint is on the Mav. Not worth the stone chips,. Just thought I( would pass this along. In a car you don't realize all the little stones these big vehicles kick up.

Not sure the dangers of drafting behind an 18 wheeler is worth the extra couple mpg. Be careful out there.
