The bench slot is a smidge shorter, if anyone's curious. Don't have the numbers in front of me at the moment though.

I added fabric/cut off straps to both butt ends of the 2x4 or 2x6 to keep the lumber from scratching the bed paint / bedliner. It does not need to be that right a fit. Even better I use two 12” metal tool holders bars ($2.00 each) from Harbor Freight to keep the 2x4/2x6 from moving Or bouncing in the bed slot.
