Hey forum,

Done a good amount of lurking recently but cant seem to get a definitive answer on this topic.

Personally I like the look of my 18's, I want to give the truck an aggresive look. I was thinking going with these tires

BFGoodrich All Terrain T/A KO2 Radial Car Tire for Light Trucks, SUVs, and Crossovers, LT265/60R18/E 119/116S 119S https://a.co/d/bXLZdDC

Throwing around the information gained here plus some addition it would appear these tires would fit stock with slight to no rubbing (see below)

I would like for someone to go over this (if possible) and double check me on it. Let me know your thoughts!

Thanks!

I have seen the 265/70R17 on the Maverick. That tire stands 31.5 inches tall depending on brand. The 265/60R18 stands roughly30.50" tall. In theory, you should be ok.

One last question diameter being addressed at 30.5" would width be called into question given that it is 10.4".

Thoughts??

265 mm translated to inches is 10.43 inches. Mounted on a 7" wide wheel you will be closer to 11" overall width from sidewall to sidewall. You should be OK.

I can't wait to see the results. I have the same plan for my XL Awd. Please keep us posted. You are going to have stock suspension right? My hopes are to keep it stock, I have a 1" level kit already (if I feel I need it).
Thanks!

Yeah planning on leaving the suspension stock and stuffing those wheels under there.

Took a pause on that project as I'm install a few mods first before the wheels go on.

Are you still on Pause? I found some 265/60/18 Hankook AT tires I had mounted and balanced.
My Maverick should be here any day now. Just wanted to see if you had any progress on your project?

Trying to find time in between work to get this going. I did manage to get my CAI and BOV installed. I dont trust shops so im limited to when I get a break.

I want to say yes, I can feel the power. But I know its subjective. The noises are cool though, sounds like a jet when spooling up.

Just curious if you compared the BFGoodrich All Terrain T/A KO2 to the Toyo Open Country AT3's? I have been looking at both online and also plan to add them to my otherwise factory Lariat Hybrid to make it look a bit more truck-like. If you (or anyone else on this post) have looked at the two and know which are better i would appreciate the info.

The Toyo's can match and/or come very close to the stock tire size so i feel it would be a better option. https://www.toyotires.com/product/open-country-at3/

Demosouthpaw,
just an update, the 265/60/18 fit perfectly on stock suspension, no rubbing! The wheels are 18x8 with a 40et. Super happy with the fit and ride. Plenty of power. The truck only has 53 miles on it so I can't tell you about mpg. I don't care, it looks great and fills up the wheel wells with minimal poke out. Best of luck with yours!

That should work but may reduce your fuel economy.
