Well, the updated 24MY (perhaps others too) new service schedule was followed on Sun.
20k, 8 months since 10k.
(OLM appears to be on track to hit 11387 miles in another month, so 10 months total)
Right half-shaft inner boot has now leaked on the axle, decent stain.
Battery test showed 61 Ah on 47 Ah rated, and 491 CCA on the 470 CCA rated battery.
Somehow 100% SOH despite living at 11.8 volts since a couple months past new. I guess nothing like underrating the battery so it always performs well in tests.
Obviously SOC is 0%, and the tester recommended recharge and retest due to so low.
Also the coolant strength - up yet again, 54% to 57% now, barely a drop in level though. Added 2 oz distilled water to each container to the line.
I'm thinking that test is what causes a much sooner than 150k maintenance replacement. No stains showing any making it past the pressure relief cap, not sure where it's going, since no other signs. But I didn't have the undercover off yet until the oil/filter change - so more thorough then.
Hoping that CSP or TSB or whatever for the half-shafts makes it past the 22MY and into the others.
Not sure of this battery losing it quick enough if overbuilt or underclaimed by that much. Was hoping for the AGM replacement closer to the 3 yr mark.
Hopefully alignment this week, since I can now show rotated wheels didn't solve the pull. And have them log the half-shaft, and poor battery - for down the road. And ACCM update hopefully.
Factory tape on the wimpy speed sensor wires unraveled near plug - need that replaced and noted.
I don't think I left enough room for notes on my maintenance sheet. 300 word max online for logging with Ford though.
