Yeah, 2023s are though, says it starts 9/29.. that's this week with the chart showing 9/26 info.No 22 Mav's are being scheduled this week.
There are a lot of us with a MY22 VIN that keep get being pushed back for production. Mine is now scheduled for Nov 7th. I haven't seen anything later. I read it takes 3 days to convert the plant from MY22 to MY23. What I understand is if I have a 22 VIN it will be produced as a 22. I seriously doubt MY23 are going into production on Nov 15th, as is published.Considering 9/29 is next week, it's odd that the chart doesn't show the build week(s) for Mavericks.. I wonder if they'll push the start of 2023 scheduling back another week and possibly add another week or two of 2022 production.
So, dumb question: when nothing that much changes in a model year beyond cruise being standard on XLs, what is actually involved in "changing a line over" for the 23's? Serious question, I just don't know and I'm pretty familiar with manufacturing. Would seem to be not much to it ? Yes, of course Tremor adds a twist, but otherwise? There are a lot of us with a MY22 VIN that keep get being pushed back for production. Mine is now scheduled for Nov 7th. Exactly, so by the time we are seeing this data, NEXT week is now THIS week. They've always posted these anywhere from Friday-Sunday before the current week (Think about it, it can't be this week 9/19, as this week 9/19 is DONE in terms of scheduling...). In the past, scheduling weeks always had associated build weeks. This one says 2023 Mav scheduling starts 9/29 (WHICH IS DURING THE WEEK OF 9/26), but it does NOT list build weeks, I wouldn't hold my breath for 2023 scheduling actually starting this week as no build weeks are mentioned. The Administrator gets this info prior to the scheduling week. This is the scheduling for all models next week. The Maverick scheduling day next week is the 29th. This will more than likely be be for the production week of 11/21/22.
Then so much for Ford saying the MY23's will go into production on Nov. 15th. They will still be making the MY22's on Nov 15th.The Administrator gets this info prior to the scheduling week. I don't know either but I heard from the Fordvideoguy that the quick, 3 day turnover means not much change from MY22 to 23.So, dumb question: when nothing that much changes in a model year beyond cruise being standard on XLs, what is actually involved in "changing a line over" for the 23's? My XL is scheduled for production 10/17. Any chance they’ll throw in the cruise ?So, dumb question: when nothing that much changes in a model year beyond cruise being standard on XLs, what is actually involved in "changing a line over" for the 23's? I wouldn't think so, there is some cost to them for doing so and they're not going to give it away...or even ask you if you'd pony up for it.My XL is scheduled for production 10/17. Any chance they’ll throw in the cruise ?
