Well if the code doesn't work could you maybe take a better pic of the instructions? No need for the 45 degree angle BS...you aren't taking a pic of a 1990's Corvette listed for sale on Craigslist.

Following the cited web address down the rabbit hole leads me to believe that the installing dealer has the ability to log into Ford's proprietary system and retrieve the master code for you, or perhaps the dealer closer to you would be willing to help.

Hope you figure this out. I ordered my truck with the keypad and the dealer said it was on back order. Patiently waiting for it as the keypad is a huge reason why I like Ford…

I found the resolution. this seems to be working thus far...

The OP doesn't have the master code which is step one in the instructions you posted.

Read further, if NO proceed to C2 which is retrieving the master code.

At least with the flash code the selling dealer should be able to get the code for you. Of course that won't be until Monday, but at least your efforts will help get it straightened out.

Just by having an FMCDealer login doesn't give you access to vehicle key codes. There's a certain procedure used to get that information. When I worked at a Ford dealer the parts manager was the one who was authorized to do it.

unfortunately not. if a dealership screws this up so bad even they can't fix it, my opinion would be that they owe you a new one, properly programmed.

now that makes sense. you don't want just anyone in the dealership able to essentially reset a key.
