I like it more than I thought I would, but we'll see how the more base versions look. You can make pretty much any truck look awesome for $65,000, but let's see what the Ranger looks like at $35k.

Disappointed it does not have a real front bumper like the 2023 Ranger does.
I am sure it cost a lot less to have a one part molded front end but it looks so car like and limits aftermarket changes.

where did you come up with 65k... just a guess?

if you check almost every box on a '23 Ranger Tremor you can hit 50k. I know the Raptor is much more power, but I not sure they will sell many Ranger Raptors at 65k. I can see high 50s low 60s happening... just guessing.

More interested to see how the interior will be updated from an ergonomic perspective. I sat in a Ranger and Maverick back to back several months ago and was shocked at how much more room I "felt" I had in the Maverick.

It is a body on frame, that means it will ride like a truck, that is not a good thing. The Mav is very comfortable SUV like experience.

Let’s see if it gets an hybrid engine for decent MPGs.

The Mav is 72.6” vs 77.8” in the current ranger. that for me is essential as i do not like truck wannabe tanks on the road.

Bronco Raptor starts at $75k, F150 Raptor starts at $76. The Ranger will be the newest Raptor variant so that will also have any factory price increases tagged to it. Honestly, $65 might be a bargain, i can totally see it being $70k before any dealer mark-up.

They are making the 2024 already?
Ford previously communicated that the 2024 Ranger was expected to go into production late Spring 2023. There are always pre-production vehicles available to journalists months in advance. I don't know how many is typical but I'm sure it's a number greater than 1.

I think it's actually pretty late in my opinion but maybe others have come down the line and no one risked their job to take pics of them. This is too early for a production VIN, I would think.

Good point. I just built a '23 GMC Canyon AT4X, starts at 56k and it was not hard to option into the mid 60s. That's the 310hp/430lb-ft widebody, lifted, underbody trail cam version.

At any rate, I'm definitely not interested in a Ranger at 65K or above. I'm much more interested in a Maverick ST if Ford ever decides to build one.
