Order NOW !!! If you have family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, the milkman, etc. who are thinking about getting a Maverick, tell them to order TODAY. Do not wait until Wednesday. Most dealers only want a refundable deposit or no deposit at all. Nothing to lose if you change your mind.

This is all just nuts, isn't it? LOL. I tell people I ordered a Ford Maverick and they say "Ohhh, wow, those are rare and hard to get how did you manage to do that?" I say I just ordered it, I have not gotten it. "Yeah, but those are hard to order too" It's like these trucks have achieved a level of cult status or something similar. It not like I just ordered a McLaren Artura. LOL.

You can bet all the other automakers, that build trucks, are watching all this unfold as well.

Does the Santa Cruz even come up in truck conversations anymore? :ROFLMAO:

Glad I got mine in! That is an insanely short window. But I guess the alternative is having so many pre-orders that they have to rollover again to the next calendar year again.
Let's be real, they'll probably have to roll over a lot of 2023 orders into 2024.

I called it, days, not weeks or months. If you want in, get in now!

Using conservative numbers, 100 orders per dealer x 3000 dealers = 300,000 orders. No way in heck that Ford can make that amount in these times.

Any more word on this closure? It said early to mid this week. Well we are early week and no updates. I'm trying to make sure my dealer gets order complete in time.

Talked to a LM salesperson this morning and they fully expect retail MY23 Maverick orders will close today at midnight. An avid follower and/or MTC poster still wanting an MSRP 23 submitted their order 9/15-9/19. Anybody with a casual interest will pay thousands over MSRP in calendar year 2023.

Over the weekend Long McArthur Ford entered 600+ Maverick Orders. If FORD had the capacity they could probably sell 500K+ Mavericks / year. If they had a plug in hybrid option it would probably double that.

What I (and many others) would like to see is a standing policy of scheduling retail orders until the list is fulfilled before any stock or fleet order. Ford recently did this with the Escape because they were "caught up" on all retail orders and accepted stock orders from dealers who had allocations remaining at the end of certain months.

I think the Bronco Sport is the money maker for that facility. September production numbers are: 11,890 Bronco Sport, 4000 Mavericks.

The new addition at Planta Hermosillo for (all of ) MY23 will be 39,000 Transit Connects.

Seems funny to me that the order banks will probably be closed before Ford even puts the "Build and Price" configurator up on their website...yikes. Haha.

I believe that is Ford's intent. It sounds like the put a cap on the number of Maverick retail orders on purpose to allow a buffer to eventually get to stock orders and to ensure all retail orders are produced. I'm sure they are watching their numbers like hawks and plan to pull the plug as soon as they hit their limit.

I was at my local authorized Ford dealer when they opened today. The manager was apparently just back from a week long Ford convention in Las Vegas.

My wife ordered a MY23 Maverick XLT Hybrid with 360 in Cactus Gray. Placed the order at 10AM EDT, but we haven't received a confirmation e mail from Ford. Did anyone else order today and receive a prompt response?

The manager feels that Ford may open up the Maverick order book each quarter for short periods.
