2023 Maverick New Colors: Atlas Blue, Avalanche Gray

@fordvideoguy Is the silver different at all? Metallic looks new. I thought '22 was just iconic silver? '23 is iconic silver metallic.

I have never seen one in person. Is it just the name change or is the '23 going to be sparkly silver?

My 2022 Invoice says Iconic Silver Metallic - no change for 2023

I bet ford knows this based on Bronco purchases and will introduce it in year 3. Just my guess. I saw it the other day and it was such a complex green, bits of gold or yellow in it, pretty rad.

Going to go back to my first choice, Iconic Silver, now that Velocity Blue is gone. Atlas is too dark for me, Alto is way too dark. I’d like a Blue Flame from ~2010, that was a good blue and Velocity Blue seemed pretty close.

I know someone with an avalanche gray Shelby GT350. I'm surprised to see it added as a Maverick color, especially since they kept cactus gray.

How is it as you state not a proper blue?

Here is a video of a MY22 Ford F150 in Atlas Blue:

Its just too dark. A good Ford blue should be bold , doesnt have to be striking like Lightning blue(which is very nice)and atleast not subdued or darkend. Unless you shine a bright light on it its just too dark. I see em at work quite a bit but its just too dark.

Been around longer- keep that demand / hype going. With the new models it’s not necessary I don’t think, as it is exists already.

Avalanche gray is just silver without the metallic flakes... prove me wrong!

Hard to know without seeing it, but Avalanche looks to me like the Aviator Grey Audi used to have and even the current Ceramic Grey used on the current C8 Corvette...

Well that sucks. Atlas blue is not a proper blue. Its not as bad as anti-matter, but it still isnt pretty. I may have to switch to HPR or schoolbus yellow. Everything else is pretty much just the background colors of this and every other website.

The question is, to which gods do I pray? Velocity blue 2022 or Ugly Tremor 2023?

and it is awesome

Great. I was 100% ready to order my MY23 with Cactus Grey but this Avalanche has my attention. Looks classier, without being totally boring. I really wish I could compare them better.
