Think FORD will make any changes in the 2023 Maverick builds or stay the same?
Upgrade sounds, sync, etc?

I think the only thing guaranteed to be upgraded is the price!

Seriously though, I would love to see AWD Hybrid, or Plug-In Hybrid. Maybe an ST version? Fog light option. Black out option.

I wish:

Stand alone cruise option for XL

Steelies available on XLT and Larry's with an "aluminum wheel delete" credit option. (I think steelies
look wicked pissa ' on the Mav, to use the vernacular)

Real full size spare option with a matching wheel.

The End

Rostra should be coming out with a good cruise control kit soon

AWD Hybrid in Rapid Red with black & grey interior, and Homelink.

A Plug-in Hybrid would be even better. If it could go 50 miles on battery power I might never have to buy another gallon of gas.

EDIT: I've put another 30 - 40 seconds of thought into this and want to add Sync 4, and a rear window defroster to my list of improvements for 2023.

Be a year or two at least before you see any changes
I tend to agree. Other than various luxury features, I'd like to see 1)AWD hybrid 2) a REAL fx4 with a locking or dual clutch diff. or 3) an actual 4wd system along with 4) improved approach and departure angles along with increased ground clearance. 5) enlarged wheel wells to accommodate larger tires.

An EV version would be fun for some people and that seems fairly likely at some point in the future. Ford has to meet EPA fleet fuel efficiency standards and an EV, no matter how crappy, would go a long way to helping them meet those standards.

But in the shorter term, I don't expect more than simply refinement of the current design along with improved production processes to reduce costs.

Until the fuel maintenance program kicks in and starts running the engine to clear out the fuel because it's getting too old.

Until then, yes. My personal record was 1700km on a tank with my former PHEV.

My guess is the 23 MY will only be color differences and a few option differences/changes. Along with small price increase, which are already coming on the 22. 24 or 25 will be AWD hybrid and maybe PHEV. Of course this is just speculation on my part

Regardless of what Ford does for any changes with add on's or PHEV etc... the one thing you can guarantee is the price will MSRP and markup will only go up!
