2023 Ford Maverick XLT Hybrid Shadow Black Build (Vors TR4, Eibach, Air Design spoilers, Bak tonneau cover, LasFit LEDs Etc)

Here is my Maverick build so far. I’ve been steadily working on this little truck to get it to where it is now. Was finally able to add the wheels and lowering springs this weekend. Loving every minute I’m in this truck. Will add more photos of the additional mods soon.

The fog lights are Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro with JJC brackets and bezels. These lights are super bright.

Thanks! I was surprised how much I ended up loving this truck having had full size trucks prior to this.

I think I’m going to end up getting the Diode Dynamics fog light kit and then get the brackets from JJC that can move my SS3’s to behind the main grille and wire them to my high beams.

Yeah. I think I am leaning towards the Diodo Dynamics. They look the most stock I think. Might also do the ditch lights.

Can we talk about your third brake light and camera for a sec?
I've wanted to do something similar for quite a while now but just haven't committed to it yet. After seeing your set up though, I think I'm sold.

My plan was to use one of the Morimoto brake lights for the F-150s or Super Dutys that have built-in bed cameras. You went with a no camera light. I assume because the fixed position camera wan't going to give you the view you wanted. Are you using the rearview camera that came with the mirror? If so, how did you mount it above the brake light? surely there is more than just double sided tape holding it in place.

Did you have any type of problems getting the BCM to accept the higher output of your amplified system?

BCM doesn't really factor into it. I'm running about the same wattage subwoofer amplifier + Kicker Key 200.4. One thing I did run into is the truck might charge at >15 volts especially if you have one of the cruddier OE batteries which is right at the point some amplifiers overvolt protection will kick in. The Kicker Key doesn't mind it, but the MB Quart I have and another I tried previous would shut off as soon as I closed the door and the voltage increased (the charging strategy apparently differentiates between "door open/closed").

I have been looking at Bulletpoint Mounting Solutions Rubigrid dash mount. How do you like it? The one I have priced out is about $100. Is it worth it? Does the phone jiggle? It def looks more custom than anything else I have seen.
