Now that we know that ford looks at the forum, it is a good time to talk about the countries where the Maverick is going to be marketed. In particular, let me say that we are waiting for her to sell in Argentina as soon as possible 😂

I think removing the Maverick photo is so funny all you have to do is Google Ford Maverick and there the picture is. This post will be removed

Nah. The post will stay. They only care about the picture itself

Then give us another cryptic message to distract us. Bed length? Tow rating? Gas mileage?
I realize fuel economy isn't the most sexy topic when it comes to trucks, but it's one of the things I'm most excited about on Maverick.

Man... If fuel economy is anywhere near my Escape, I might jump ship. And if an AWD hybrid isn't that expensive, boy will it be hard to not do a trade in.

Awd adds about $1500 so figure $28-29k for the AWD hybrid. Definitely under $30k after Title and Delivery would be my guess.

I am very uninformed when it comes to hybrids. Why should I not get a hybrid? In other words, why is a hybrid not worth the extra expense? My daily commute is 40 miles roundtrip.

So let’s break down the numbers.
$1500 more up front for the Hybrid.
$25,000 vs $26,500
Now say sign and drive. 3% interest for 72 months.
$380 Vs $403
AND (in Ohio) hybrids cost $100 more each year for registration to off set the fuel tax loss.
That’s $376 per year more for 6 years.
now 28mpg vs 36mpg combine.
15,000 miles per year USA average.
536 gallons vs 417 gallons. So 120 gallons saved. Or ~$360 in savings.
so in the end your down $16 per year vs a gas car. So the only way to save any money is

1 Bigger down payment or trade in
2 Drive a lot more in the city vs highway.
3 Drive well over 15k miles per year.
4 well over $3.00 per gallon in gas

Thank you for taking the time to do that. I appreciate it.

Just to clarify, where are you getting the $380 vs. $403 numbers from?
3% interest for 72 months (6years) $0 down. Is $380 a month and $403 a month.
