We just caught the Ford Maverick pickup running with little disguise during a quick public road drive. This is our first all-encompassing look at Ford’s sub-Ranger pickup, revealing all of the truck’s major design elements! Headlights, tail-lights, and grille are all completely undisguised, while the rest is covered in a highly-revealing graphic camo.

Looking pretty good. I'll still consider it considering the use case for my current truck.

Looks like two different trim levels out testing. One has moonroof, body color mirror caps and door handles and different rims/ tires than the other with no moonroof, black door handles and mirror caps.

2" receiver and 4-pin/7-pin connections make me think this thing will be able to tow an acceptable amount. Most vehicles come with a 2" receiver nowadays, but the 7-pin option there is what makes makes me think they're serious about this being able to tow.

Looks really good!

The fact that it's front end is lower than its back end seems to suggest to me that they are worried about payload. My only worry is that the front end looks pretty low in a few of those pics, so we'll see what ground clearance looks like. I'm hoping that you can get it specced so that it's at least equal to something like an Outback. Things do look nicely tucked away under there though, so that's a plus.

I see they're running Wildpeaks on this, which suggests it's the offroad trim. Not a huge amount of sidewall there though. I wonder if you could fit the next size up if you really wanted to, just for airing down purpuses.

Ford Authority claims those are 18 in wheels, and using that as the bases for my pixel counting math, I get the bed being 53.4 inches. The picture isn't perfectly square, but it strengthens my belief that the bed will be 54 in (4.5 ft).
