2.5L Hybrid - port or direct injection?

Does anyone know if the 2.5L on the hybrid is port or direct fuel injection? If it's direct injection, I would want to put an oil catch can in as I would for the 2.0L EcoBoost, otherwise it's not necessary on a port injected motor. Thanks.

Specs list the hybrid as SMFI, which I believe stands for sequential multiport fuel injection.
