Greetings:
Just wanted to share how much I'm enjoying my 2022 Maverick. About this time of day on March 16, 2022, I struck a deal to purchase a Maverick that the original customer declined. You will recall the car market was absolutely bonkers at that time, and unfortunately I paid $4,000 over MSRP...... but I was pushing my luck with my 1994 Ranger at 353,750 miles. The dealer had a supplemental sticker asking for $36,000 for a truck with an MSRP of $26,650. Overall, while not a great deal, it was a deal I could live with.
I've been very happy with my ownership experience so far. I'm consistently getting 28-29 mpg, which is pretty solid in my opinion for the 2.0L EB. I'm very impressed with the acceleration the EB provides, and also with the smooth ride at highway cruising speed.
So here are some photos:
Maverick as purchased from Andy Mohr Ford on 3/16/2022 in Plainfield IN (about 175 miles from my house). This was after we completed the deal and they moved it to the back lot prior to final prep work for me to take delivery the following day.

Hood Deflector and Front License Plate Frame (GO BIG BLUE!)

Additional photos I took last night to honor the occasion. One thing I really love about the Hot Pepper Red color is how the shades of red and orange blend together and shift depending on the lighting.

Overall great truck and I'm very happy with it. My dad likes it so much he's offered to buy it from me.... so I have ordered an 2023 Atlas Blue. Stay tuned.....
