Did you have it in SPORT MODE? My Xlt is getting around 46 47 on the HWY!!!! 51 In Town! My friend told me That's Cheating!! & a neighbor who owns a Prius & fan of Hybrids said,, wait until I get it broke in I will get better! I told them I think it's the Tonneau cover is why LOL..

I punched mine to pass for the first time the other day, I have been babying it up to that point.
It now has 3000 mile on it. It went up to 50% for the first time and literally snapped my head back.
hit the accelerator at 35mph, by the time I passed the malibu I might have been well past 80.
I was not expecting that.

I'm guilty of the same... my fiance' noticed me doing speed limits alot for the first month. But on a certain trip (two lane hwy) had a chance to pass... and WOW. Ohh that turbo! Then she questioned the trans modes... so one day, we found SPORT mode.... WOW Let'er rip - tater chip. Have fun and be safe to all.

Here is some perspective:
Car Life clocked a GTO so equipped at 0-60 miles per hour (0-97 km/h) in 6.6 seconds, through the standing quarter mile in 14.8 seconds with a top speed of 99 miles per hour (158 km/h).

The 400hp Maverick in my picture did 14.46 at Kil-Kare but that was with 28" tires and 3.0:1 open gears and a dead alternator. Made alot of noise but didnt really get up and go until you hit 60mph or so. Still that hybrid beat out my nephews Miata he rips around in.

That is very impressive. I'm betting she could get many trophies, the Maverick hybrid has to be consistent. I am planning on taking my EB to the track one day yet this summer to see what it really does, I am still testing the various drive modes to see what I feel will work the best. I know what the AWD versions do, I want to find out what the FWD does.

Not sure which is prettier. I have driven 40 ton Semi's, Forklifts, Rat Rods, 1200 cc Suzuki Bandit @ high 11s. My new Maverick gets up on the freeway without worry of becoming a Mack Truck Hood ornament. Someday, Somewhere, someone will build a 6 second Maverick. I am stoked with what I got. OK , The chick is prettier.

Nice! That’s definitely a good time for a small hybrid truck, curious now to see what my eco AWD would run.
