Hit the 10,000 mile marker on my XLT hybrid. Picked up on 12/23/21. Over the last 7000+ miles, averaging 41.6 MPG. That is with 50/50 hwy and city. Couple hundred miles towing 6x12 enclosed trailer. Absolutely FLAWLESS driving. No mechanical or cosmetic issues. No paint issues, no chips, no glass issues, no eCVT issues...nothing. On a 1-10 scale, a SOLID 10.
If I use the "coaching" screen, in the city, consistently 50-60 mpg. Yes, I LOVE my Maverick Hybrid and am very happy with my purchase. This is from someone who has owned over 2 dozen BRAND NEW cars and trucks, someone experienced with new vehicle sales/expectations.

Good to know. I’ve only had minor non-deal breaker issues that the dealer has resolved or I’ve taken care of myself. Same mpg as you

Excellent!! I am glad to hear about your positive experience. Sometimes after reading some of the posts it feels like every Maverick(esp. the hybrids) is going to do something bad. The negativity really gets attention. I only have 900 miles on my Lariat hybrid but glad to hear some positive vibes!!! I love my truck.

I only have 2300 miles on mine . It’s been flawless so far . If I had one complaint it would be the brakes are extra touchy/grabby at lower speeds. I’ve driven many hybrids but these brakes are def the least smooth?

This has been discussed in this forum, it's the regen brakes, I'm not a fan of the issue either but I'm leaving with them

Ya all hybrids have regenerative braking …. It’s just the mavericks are a little crude

The heat here in Texas keeps our gas mileage in the hybrid way down. I am not a passive driver but I try to keep it on "electric" as much as possible and am only getting maybe 37 MPG in the city. AC runs constantly.......

Here in PHX we are having the same issue, my last fillup I averaged 39, and I was getting 46. but overall I'm so impressed with this truck.

Only 1,300 miles on an XLT hybrid since April. (I have two other vehicles) but the drivetrain has been flawless. I'm a manual transmission person and hate autos particularly CVTs, but this eCVT doesn't feel like a rubber band. The downhill regenerative pretty much figures out what to do to keep speed without breaking. And the electric boosts keeps it out of the rubber band effect. My average since April is 46.3 But almost no AC and no heat use. And it isn't my high demand daily driver.

I've been able to get a consistent 45-50 when city driving here. Highway usually results in about 38. I keep the AC on constantly because Phoenix. Been pretty impressed so far though in the 4 months/3500 miles I've had my hybrid.
