My dealer wouldn't mine until a put down a $500 deposit. Is this standard Procedure? I have my order # but no vin. It's been about 6 weeks.

Whew,,,After seeing so many people having trouble with dealers not placing the orders or doing so correctly I just called Ford and verified my truck is in the orders, just not set for production yet. Thanks for posting that advice and the number!!

I ordered 07/07 and just got my vin # last Thursday with my build date of 11/01. I don't think you can get your vin # until its scheduled to be built.

I placed my order June 16th. My dealer rep has assured me multiple times I'm good to go but I'm just getting nervous they dropped the ball.
I placed my order on 6-19. At the top of the build sheet is a priority code of 19 which means a retail build. I believe if the code is 10 then it means that is a stock build. It’s been reported that the retail codes will be built first. On another note, I have not received a built order like others who have ordered after me. Why can’t Ford give us more details, after all they have been in business since 1903.

Retail builds have Priority Codes from 10 through 19. Ten is lower (or better) than priority 19. When Ford looks at a dealership to select a Maverick order to build and that dealership has two that are available Ford will pick the one with the lowest priority code. Thus the many many posts here to ask your dealer to put a 10 for Priority code.

Dealer Stock orders have Priority codes 20 or higher.

Just got off the phone with Ford Cust Service. An FYI is they are not no longer giving out details. My CSR said several phone reps have been terminated for giving out to much info. At least I confirmed they have my order.
"They are not no longer giving out details"? This means they are now giving out details, right?

Ordered July 2, confirmed July 2, scheduled for 9/20 production with vin# on Aug 5th. Aug, 24th requested full size spare if it wouldn't affect build date. Notified today, 8/31 full size spare added with no affect on build date. Confirmed on Ford track my order....

XLT, Lux, AWD, 360, tow pkg.

Order and confirmed June 28th. Haven't heard anything since. Called Ford and they said it hasn't been scheduled yet. =(

I guess we will have to wait when build is scheduled/serialized for VIN to be assigned. Also nowhere on email or dealer order printout I could see the Order Number, there is a lot of codes though on the printout.
