Brought some brush to the dump. While there, a guy threw away all of this firewood. While it’s pushing 90 today, winter is coming. This is about 3 days worth of heat for my house.

Got the tint done today. Did the tailgate lettering and prox15 bed cover earlier in the week.

Gave mine a good clean up today. Noticed one tiny rock ding. I knew it was a matter of time with these horrible roads we have. Nonetheless it still looks brand new. Love this thing!

Took the tent off because I'll be driving to Cleveland Friday to ride motorcycles all weekend with my dad. Did a test load with my Honda Cb650r. It barely fits lol

Drove from just outside Birmingham, Al. to St. Augustine, Fl. Took 9 1/2 hrs. At a little over 45 mpgs. Nothing but highway no interstates

Installed BAK Revolver X4s from tonneaucovered.com a couple of weeks ago.

Installed black textured door sill protector a couple of weeks ago.

Installed clear door edge guard a week ago.

Added 6 inch 3M clear wrap to front of the hood a week ago.

Installed bed cubby on driver side.

Added 12v and USB to driver side cubby.

Well since my Maverick is still sitting in a railyard waiting on transportation down to Tucson, I used today to get my Ranger washed, waxed and ready to sell. I figured I'm safe to sell since my Maverick is a little over a week away from arriving. One day Maverick you WILL BE MINE!!

Well since my Maverick is still sitting in a railyard waiting on transportation down to Tucson, I used today to get my Ranger washed, waxed and ready to sell. I figured I'm safe to sell since my Maverick is a little over a week away from arriving. One day Maverick you WILL BE MINE!!

You got a good start but think cleanliness everywhere.

My Mav is my 67th car/truck. Motorcycles are 41. So you can guess I have sold a lot of used vehicles. My last car was a 2005 Honda Civic loaned to me by a relative. Was dirty, unused lately but they wanted to sell it after I was done with it. Free to me to use. I detailed the trunk, engine, carpet and seats, changed oil and timing belt, got it smogged. When I was done I sold it for them on Craig's List in 1 day for 6600.00.

If you have not sold many vehicles here are some things that work. I have yet to have someone show up and look at my vehicles and not buy it. Thats right, first looker always buy it. Cleanliness everywhere on a vehicle sells. Trust me.

Get your Ranger spotless. Paint shines in the pictures. Write up all you know about the service and repairs. Look what others are going for in a 200 mile radius. Add 400 dollars to that price knowing you could come down that. CL allows 24 pictures, I post 24 pictures. I write as much positive I can on the vehicle. One owner or long time owned is good. Yes, with CL you do get scammers. ignore them. If smog is required, I always get one before placing the ad. Title & registration is important so mention you have it.

I know you are ready to take delivery. I love that generation of Ranger. I had a 2009 that was totaled when a drunk driver hit me and flipped it. I am blessed to even be here today. I cannot wait to see yours once you get it.

Thanks for all the advice! I will be making the Ranger as clean as possible as I do on anything I sell. Thankfully smog check was just complete a few months ago with no issues. I shouldn't have to much of a problem selling with the current market the way it is.

I'm really looking forward to getting my Maverick! Seeing all the pictures on here of folks enjoying theirs has really made happy that nearly a year ago I decided to plunk down $500 and take a chance on a first model year vehicle!! I'm just so happy because Maverick is exactly the vehicle I was looking for when I was thinking about something to replace my Ranger. I wanted a four door truck, but I didn't want to get back into a F150, I had an 2008 for 10 years, and the new model Ranger was still more than I really needed. Then I caught wind of the Maverick!! A small truck that still looks and acts like a truck!! Yeah baby!!

Won’t have my Maverick for a couple months. Saw this guy in Tucson last night at Trader Joe’s. When I came back out the Maverick was gone, but there was a bronco sport in front of where it was. I’m confident the driver parked there because of the Maverick.

I checked a few potential trouble spots on the truck for him/and every thing looked great. I was hoping to run into him/her. Any of you guys own this bad boy?

You can actually see the down-angle of the tailgate, relative to the bed rails.
