Finally picked it up after nine agonizing months! I actually picked up yesterday, but I was too busy enjoying it to put up any pics. I also threw on a Truxport soft roll up cover as soon as I got home.

I got mine back yesterday. They said mine was good and the chances that the tanks are damaged is pretty slim. This was the first one they have done the recall on. The paperwork shows they have to submit back photos of tank top . My dealership ended up keeping my truck an extra day. I had them do my first oil change and tire rotation while it was in.Mine was in for the tank recall yesterday also. I was told they have to drop the drive shaft and that it uses one time only bolts that they had to order in. So I have to take it back in when they get the parts.
Oooo..... looks like I may have to change the logos on my Maverick... I think I remember some overlays on Ebay that might replicate the steer head.. time to go googling.Thanks that's pretty cool, a little bit of a history lesson from our ancestors
