Looks like you have it mounted upside down. The big part should be at the top, if you leave it that way it will wear out the tailgate cable.Just installed the tailgate cylinder I purchased from Country Rough - pretty easy install I had to remove the driverβs side tie-down on the tailgate which is no big deal for me, if you donβt the tailgate wonβt close that tie-down will hit the cylinder - no more dropping the tailgate, it grabs about a quarter of the way down and smoothly letβs the tailgate settle into its resting position its definitely not as slow as others have commented on other brandsβ¦

If you haven't it really pays to install replacement tweeters in the dash as well, and replacing the rear 4-in speakers does help. If you do all that it's best to use for scan and change the EQ to flat really improves the overall sound as well as the base output to the rear speakers.Installed some Infinity Reference coax speakers in the front doors. Not a mind blowing improvement but sounds much crisper, well worth the $80 for speakers, and metra mounting brackets and harnesses. Crutchfield ftw.
I didn't do that simply because I was just looking for something to improve the sound on a budget for now. And Forscan doesn't seem to have the easy way to change the EQ on the 25s yet. Eventually, I'll put a proper component system and some new ones in the rear.If you haven't it really pays to install replacement tweeters in the dash as well, and replacing the rear 4-in speakers does help. So I pilfered this post from one of my motorcycle groups. Itβs fun to see what everyone is up to. (Other than that poor SOB whose cousin totaled his)
today I got the front sides tinted to match factory
