with a 6” usbc to usbc. i hardwired the plug into fuse 3 under the kick panel fuse box with this

It was really easy and took 15 minutes following this video’s instructions

The whole project cost me $60 and works way better than I expected.

You can’t beat this mod for $60. When paired with a Bluetooth Apple CarPlay adapter my radio usage is wireless and seamless.

I installed the Lund hood deflector and nearly had a heart attack seeing that the surface prep discolored the paint. Fortunately, it came off with Everclear after trying everything else.

Looky what came in yesterday, went to Cap World to get it installed today then took it to Stealership to show my salesman who also bought a Maverick.

Got bored...repurposed another project part for passenger's choice of USB A or USB C (with matching orange accent color...total accident).

I took up all the ports on the Driver's side with wireless CarPlay attachment and new phone holder/charger (I'll show that later when done).

The regular 12v cigarette plug has the USB A LED light, since FORD removed the ambient lighting from the Maverick.

wife didn't like this Tyger bump step on her Jeep Gladiator, so I popped it on my Maverick and have to admit I like it. bonus is it will keep people from running into my bumper when parking!

I am a retired Field service engineer for Hewlett Packard that worked for 30 years. I was involved in 7 accidents. All of them I was at a dead stop and got rear-ended. my speed in every crash was Zero!. so with my track record I am happy to have this!
