Replacing damaged front tow hook, came off the truck like that. Looks like the bracket was bent.

Figured out that the useless cubby would hold 2 or 3 packs of cigarettes. However, not being a smoker decided to use it for a much more practical purpose. Cut a hard pack, painted it black and stuffed a Homelink transponder in it and it fits pretty good. Looks better in person as I lightened the photo get better resolution.
Now I have a slightly smaller useless cubby and can open my garage door.

So you're telling me that it might be possible to ADD the tow hooks to a non-FX4 model??

Took mine out in a nasty snow storm this morning. This is twice now in the Maverick and this thing does amazing in the snow. Here in WV, there are plenty of hills and curvy roads that don't get much tlc during snowstorms. I'm impressed by the AWD maverick

I haven't seen a non fx4 without a bumper on, but I don't think it's possible. Mine is the fx4. I believe Mr boom did a video on that a while ago.

According to Mr. Beast, the piece that the tow hook attaches to the body is missing on non FX4 trucks.

So far, I’ve gotten the truck bed lined, bed extender, done the DIY bed rails (Ford YouTube video states it’s 6mm bolts… it’s 8mm!) installed rokblokz mud flaps. Steering wheel leather kit is next once it arrives. Almost forgot falken wildpeak at3w’s in fx4 sizing (235/65/17)

Very nice! I like the Rokblokz now that I see them on the CG, good thing I waited-was going to get black logo. Can’t wait to see your steering wheel kit!

Tailgate Assist. It all went well until I lost the screwy looking nut inside the tailgate. No hope to recover. Went to hardware store and got two nuts and two fender washers. Filed down fender washer to fit in hole. Rotated 90 degrees and tightened. All is well.
