I have been on the fence about which Mav I want. My Lariat ECB FX4 with all options is in-transit. I plan to place an order for an XL or XLT Hybrid in August and decide which one to keep, after I have lived with them both for a few months.

I want a hybrid XLT with 360, tow hitch, and spray-in liner. If I order early will I get them or will the 360 and liner just cause delays?

You can’t get the tow package with the hybrid unless Ford adds an AWD option for the hybrid next year which seems unlikely. Do you mean the regular trailer hitch?

My understanding is that you'll get price protection if your MY22 goes to MY23. However, I'm not an expert, but I saw one once on TV! 😁
My Dealer-Sheehy Ford of Richmond- said that I would not get price protection and would have to pay the 2023 price increases but would be in the first Order Bank. That sucks! Depending on the price increases I may drop from an XLT to an XL.

People getting more than one Maverick then figuring they will sell at a profit how confident are you the market will still be there to make money.

In theory, you could order and receive your '23 before your '22
Certainly could be true if your MY22 has several constraints and your MY23 order has one or none!!

In the chart, what is: 2022 Final Orders due to Donlen1, May 16 for EB's, ASP for hybrids and what is: 2022 Final orders due date of May 20?? I am aware that Donlen is a large American fleet and transportation company out of Illinois. How is this related to fleet sales. Tim, Fordvideoguy, once said fleet orders are priority 99. Perhaps just at his dealership. We have seen obvious fleet vehicles, like 15 at a time, in photos from car lots.

Fleets sales, I thought, were not to hold up retail sales. If just ONE fleet sale occurred with same trim and options of a retail order still waiting, especially very early retail orders, then something is not right in my humble opinion. I understand Ford has a business model to maximize profitability; business models should also incorporate methods for long term existence. In other words, if want a loyal customer, don't treat him like crap.

Does anyone know what those chart headings mean??

Maybe just do the CP360 then. You can get the spray-in bedliner and trailer hitch aftermarket if need be.
Or when you get your truck . Getting the truck is the bigger task at hand you get ford points as well ..
