If I had to guess the phrasing of firm 2022 model year may be the key when does Ford consider it firm when it's ordered as a 22 or when it's actually built as a 22.I dont see how Tims statement is correct when it says price protection on firm 2022 retail orders signed and dated prior to the 26th. That bullet point has nothing to do with the invoiced bullet point. That implies that invoiced orders and signed orders prior to the cutoff will not be changed. @fordvideoguy ???
Multiple people are saying that although the price has gone up on previously ordered vehicles that Ford will rebate the dealers the difference.I don't know, I reread the bullet point, but Tim has a very good track record of being right.
This whole process is BS so far. Might be the last new Ford I buy.
Looking to clarification on this tomorrow.I dont see how Tims statement is correct when it says price protection on firm 2022 retail orders signed and dated prior to the 26th. I Agree with you. Tim ignored the price protection section which talks about automatic price protection on orders signed and received by Ford on or before 12/30/21. It does not mention the invoicing date in the criteria for price protection.I dont see how Tims statement is correct when it says price protection on firm 2022 retail orders signed and dated prior to the 26th. Yep Tim @fordvideoguy just made his correction here:I Agree with you. Tim ignored the price protection section which talks about automatic price protection on orders signed and received by Ford on or before 12/30/21. It does not mention the invoicing date in the criteria for price protection.
Thank you for the clarification!Looking to clarification on this tomorrow.
Tim is a real stand up guy! Thanks for all you do. One thing that also needs to be looked into is the price increases Tim found during his podcast last night. Seems like the increase was programed into Ford's invoicing system on all newly invoiced vehicles without exception. (Ford Hqtrs no more vacation for you)Yep Tim @fordvideoguy just made his correction here:

Will not affect any vehicles that are already ordered.
Dora prices are a lock. If a dealer tries to charge you, call Ford.
