I noticed they said will not re-invoice. That's good.

I also saw in a Facebook group that a dealer agrees with cars being pushed to MY23. If that is the case, will those that already ordered have to pay the inevitable price increases.

Two things:

(1) These look like pretty small increases on the models (not the options) compared to what Mavericks are selling for. I would have expected a bigger jump on the XLT and Lariat.

(2) For those of you worried about your existing orders, go back to post #1 and read the section entitled "PRICE PROTECTION." If you have a "signed and dated" order that was received by Ford before 12/30/21 you will be ok.

Wouldn't it be nice if they actually built some of the thousands that are already ordered before they started raising prices?

For those of us that have a Mav in the driveway or waiting on production and delivery this is a Christmas present from Ford. Where else can the value go up before you take delivery And those of us with “F” stock had a great day in the market.

This was my thought, too. Did the truck I bought just go up in value? What a wild world!

This price increase ONLY applies to orders received by Ford after Dec 30, 2021. So everyone who currently has a confirmed order is safe from any price increase, unless of course you have a shady salesman who tries some underhanded 🐂:poop:! :cautious:🤣🤣

I don't think it makes any difference because:
  • they are not raising prices on the already ordered trucks, and
  • raising the prices is not going to delay the building of those trucks.
So I think we're ok...

Let’s see if those of us waiting on delivery get hit with up charges…
Your dealer should be familiar with the process. But if they aren't they may charge the increase In error.
