I'm in Vermont too. No build date. Going through Ford So. Burl. Holler if you get a build date.
Will do. I’m working with lamoille valley in Hardwick. They just got in a eco boost XLT lux fx4 in area51 if you wanna check it out. They said they were gonna keep it off the market until Monday so people can check it out if you’re interested. Once it goes on the market they are gonna ask $1,000 over sticker which kinda sucks

Thanks so much for the tip!! We perused several Ford dealerships recently but there were none on their lots. It would be so cool just to actually see the size of it first hand. We'll likely check it out this weekend! 😃👍

VERY COOL! Thanks so much for the photos! It's practically the truck you ordered, isn't it? Must be so frustrating that they jacked up the price.

You'll get it when you get it.

That isn't what you wake to hear but it's the truth. All this speculation over build dates, rail capacity, number of trucks the plant can build in a shift makes as much difference to when your truck arrives as a donkey farting by a cactus in Mexico.

I'll wait because the Maverick is the best for what I need in a truck at a cost that's only a few grand more than a ten year old one. As long as that is true, I'll wait.
Something else to worry about my XLT cactus gray coming in with a brown fart mark from a donkey on the driver's door of course!

Thanks for the info from this site. I had no idea this was going on until tonight. My xl hybrid is in production but at this point I am going to cancel. Ford has just been lieing from the start. All these utube vids and not one hybrid has been sold to the public. Now if mine gets built it will set in one of the most harshest deserts for months. And to top it all off the ones that do get built in coming months get shipped first. Nope not playing this game!!!

Don’t blame Ford . . . The EPA has had the test data since JUNE! It’s typical of the EPA to take 2 or 3 months to turn the test data around but . . . In a stunning example of bureaucratic incompetence they have decide test it themselves which will add another 3 months to the OKTB approval.

If Ford would’ve known this was going to be the case . . . They wouldn’t have sunk all the money into producing all those Hybrids sitting down in Mexico that can’t be sold until EPA gets off it’s ass.

Our source at Ford has just confirmed the OKTB (ok-to-buy) date for the Maverick Hybrid is December 8, 2021, due to the emission certification delay. This info originates directly from Hermosillo plant.

It remains to be seen if this date holds, but we should be less than two months away from the first saleable hybrid Mavericks.

As for EPA MPG release for the Hybrid Maverick, the source isn't 100% certain, but thinks that it should also be released on the same date.
that is why FORD, doesn't make the hybrids that much since they have to store it somewhere until it gets close to Dec 8, what a stupid plan, they should have anticipated the issue and got certification sooner. it would funny if lots of people walk away and get different cars and all these hybrids get to dealers.

I have had my Maverick on order since June 8 and would like a OKTB (ok to build)! It is like they are not doing any Lariat Hybrid Lux, 360 pkg builds, very frustrating! You would have thought that Ford would have had everything done with the EPA before they started presenting this version to the public as this was the "STAR" configuration of their rollout commercial.
. Just checked the build website got a surprise my XLT hybrid was in production plus I got a window sticker for it too it says not for sale on it 😭. Darn EPA

There have been a heck of a lot of build notifications for Hybrids this go around for build dates 11/29, 12/6 and I think there was even one FE that said later in December which I didn't even know they were scheduling for. I think this may lend some credibility to the 12/8 OKTB or else Ford is going to have a logistical nightmare on their hands storing all these hybrids somewhere.

The order won’t be cancelled at this point so you may as well wait until the dealership calls to tell you the truck is ready for purchase.

We don’t know if the source is correct nor if the date is subject to change.

I think this is in line with Ford strategy to sell more of eco-boost than hybrid at dealerships. If I remember correctly the hybrids are built per customer online order only and walk-in customers at any dealership rarely sees one sitting in their lots. Instead the eco-boost will be largely available. The hybrid delay show it is not Ford priority. Yesterday I made a hybrid reservation for a friend and he got a call from a dealer 10 minutes right after the submission. The salesman said he has one available at the lot with the same color (Area 51) but with eco-boost engine. We said no and will stick with ordering the hybrid.
