I guess they are still going to be building hybrids as normal, just cant ship until OKTB.

hopefully they can pump out a reasonable quantity before that date.

I live in Tucson so it's only a few hours North of the factory, to save time I'll met my Maverick at the border!

Because of the HUGE backlog of hybrid orders. When the OKTB goes through they just ship them enmasse around the globe.

Logically, if it's the EPA doing the test then the best date would need to come from them, and the best future date from them would be prefixed with... unless something happens... If it was 100% certain it would be done, so, the best this could mean is we expect...

Assuming anyone has had any customer service training, the date would be padded. Funny enough, I have seen dates passed though levels were each level added their padding so, this should hopefully be padded to allow for any possible predictable delays.

Any date is better than no date, but without some back story, a single date is just a date.

Long time lurker, first time poster. To all those skeptical of the info @Administrator put out, his information on the Bronco 6G forum is always spot on so I trust it. He wouldn't post unsubstantiated information or hearsay as fact but he's also not going to out his source on a public forum.

Note that the delay was for the "emission certification" not the MPG numbers.

Ecoboost is a completely separate testing group/application. The hybrid Maverick was submitted with the escape hybrid.
