Glad to see this! This is a good word from Ford. I wish it had a credible source cited, but I bet the admin actually knows someone, so I'm not worried. Now, Ford, please work on this kind of communication coming from some sort of official source.

How does OKTB on December 8th affect Hybrid's built before that date?

Will those already built Hybrid's ship to their dealerships before that date?
or will all built Hybrid's get parked in the Mexico Desert?

How will Ford schedule delivery for the large quantity of Hybrid's built before 12/8?

If a large amount of Hybrid's have to ship starting on 12/8 will the shipping now take 6 or more weeks instead of the usual 3-4 weeks?

What happens to those who have Hybrid Build dates before December 8th?
My Build Date is 11/15 I would like to know how this affects my build.

Has this 12/8 date been double confirmed.

Is the "source" trustworthy?
Has this "source" given valid information before?

And lastly is the "source" not a friend of a friend's sister heard type source.

LIFO does make sense. They've got them stacked up there and likely can't get to the first builds without first moving the last builds...

There's an easy solution to that problem; put a gate at each end of the holding area. You load through one gate all the way to the front. When OKTB time comes, you go around and open the other gate and remove from there.

I'm no engineer and can figure that out.

Note that the delay was for the "emission certification" not the MPG numbers.

I do wonder why emission testing caused the delay?

All of the catalytic converters kept coming up missing.

Great news if all true, Now if Ford would see fit to schedule a couple of weeks of hybrids just before 12/8 ( mine included) I could have my truck by January. maybe

There's a post on the forum in which a member quoted an article that state emission rules/laws changed for 2022 MY so that might the whole reason behind the delay.

I believe that article was about plug-in Hybrids and all electric vehicles. The maverick hybrid won’t be affected by any of that
