Here is the likely bad news for some of us.....historically (Past year) Ford has done last in first out on getting vehicles shipped. That means if you are build a few days before the OKTB you will get yours before those of us already built

Stupid stacking. Can't Ford manage a queue?

I guess its more space efficient packing trucks in storage yards so tightly that the only way to get stuff out is to go in reverse. Stupid laws of the physical universe...

I wonder if the limit on hybrid build percentages was purposely implemented to avoid too many hybrid vehicles stacking up waiting to ship. If so, perhaps they actually have the capacity to increase hybrid production after 12/8.

I live in Tucson so it's only a few hours North of the factory, to save time I'll met my Maverick at the border!

a few hours away......probably wish you could pick up at the factory and save that crazy expensive destination charge!

Confused: Does this mean if I have a 11/01 build date (which so far hasn't changed) that it can still ship to the dealership, just not be sold til after that date?
I wasn't expecting it til the 1st or 2nd week of December anyway.

I am still troubled by the referenced "source" without any qualifications.

Is the "source" trustworthy?
Has this "source" given valid information before?

And lastly is the "source" not a friend of a friend's sister heard type source.

Until this 12/8 date has been double confirmed I will remain guarded.

They actually won't deliver them by fall. Winter starts December 20th. If they don't ship out till after the 8th and it's a 4 to 6 weeks shipping time....... Just sayin

and why would they have this information at all?

Why do you trust this employee's information as valid to put it out as fact?

Well, that's still fall--so technically Ford will meet their commitment.

I'm just hoping that they "store" the completed trucks somewhere closer to dealers so that we actually receive them in the fall. Adding a month or more for shipping would be disappointing...
