For me I just don't see the value of the copilot. I have driven cars with the "driver assist" nannies and never liked them. They were either annoyingly distracting, or downright dangerous in lane changing situations. If I'm not going to use them, its just an added system that can break down the road.

If I were getting the lariat trim, then I would probably get copilot for the adaptive cruise control.

For those who bought an XL, adding 360 also got us the power mirrors.

That is very true, seems that the value of 360 kinda depends on the trim. LX and Lariat seem to get the most out of it.

So the only thing surprising to me is the Hybrid percentage, I knew a lot of people ordered them but I didn't know the percentages would look like that!

Going to be a lot of 2WD versions out there! I think this really shows that this is appealing to a different crowd. Around here it's hard to find any truck without AWD.

I guess I was also surprised how few people ordered black, that usually is a popular color for many cars but it seems people want their Maverick to stand out from the crowd

I think everyone had the same idea and expected to have a unique Area 51 color - not so unique - everyone wanted it!

Speaking of rookies, c'mon, copilot is a no-brainer. Why are people skipping it?

Not surprised the hybrid is hot, but this has to be one of the very few vehicles for which white and black have such low take rates, as those are the most popular colors in general. Wondering if the blue interior has a lot to do with that, or just the fact that people are ordering instead of just a dealer buying white and black vehicles as neutral and people settling for them.

I rented a Corolla in Alaska which had the lane control and I hated it. Went off when it shouldn't have etc. Maybe things have changed since then, but that's why I didn't order it.

I have that in my Honda and it's very annoying. Goes off when I exit the freeway, even with signals on. I figure that as useless as it seems to be, probably a good add-onn for resale value. For competent drivers, it's entirely useless,

Hybrid as a standard engine was the way they marketed the truck. How can they be surprised that is what most people wanted?

Look at where most of the orders are coming from, California. If you live where most of the population does, coastal California, there's just no need for AWD unless you plan on going up into the mountains a lot.

My main car is a Mustang GT with Michelin Sport Cup 2 tires that I drive on year round. If can do that, AWD is an unneeded expense.

White, black and gray (and silver, which I say is a form of gray) are about 70 percent of all cars. I think when dealers order them, they go with the colors that are most likely to be bought. When the end consumer does, you get a lot more variety.

The only odd one for me was the copilot 360. I have a fusion with this and isn’t worth it. Most people just don’t know how worthless it is.
