Note that dealers can continue to order dealer stock after retail order banks have closed. Probably cutting off early so they can get some stock to dealer lots.I really hope this means they're cutting it off at a quantity they can actually produce.
does this mean if there is no ROVP/COVP then your order gets dropped.Making this bold and large to call attention to it....
ROVP IS REQUIRED!!!!!!
No, only ROVP is required. COVP is optional. I gave my dealer a copy of my license before my order was sent. I'm assuming that is to cover both.does this mean if there is no ROVP/COVP then your order gets dropped.
Not dropped, but will not be considered for scheduling. That is my interpretation of the most recent memo from Ford. Someone more knowledgeable can confirm though.does this mean if there is no ROVP/COVP then your order gets dropped.

I have seen the terms used interchangably by Ford...... I believe I have seen a dealer explain that sometimes it depends on model vehicle which acronym they use. But I am NOT the expert. So just take what I say as somewhat partially knowledgeable. But not 100% for sure.sorry for the redundancy but what is the difference between the ROVP and the COVP
From my understanding:sorry for the redundancy but what is the difference between the ROVP and the COVP
I believe they are one in the same. From my understanding:
ROVP = Proves the order is for a person and not the dealer fluffing the books.
COVP = Proving the person is real.
I'm not entirely sure how you have one without the other, but that is what I have been able to gather through my weekend of research.
