I keep hoping to at least get an order confirmation from my order back in august and I still haven’t even got that. I did ask my dealer to keep me in mind if they have one show up that a customer doesn’t pick up or something.

I called and called the dealer in in my town I demanded my order number. They have it , Good luck

Keep checking your local and near by dealers, a lot of folks are starting to find Identical or nearly so trucks on the lots.

Hope I'm wrong but this may be our last hope for this year. The following week will probably be clean up week before a holiday shutdown. Assume the workers have a Christmas and New Years vacation. Plus I'm not sure I want a vehicle built around the holidays.

Amazing my June order hasn't been scheduled but dealers have stock sitting on the lot that they'll gladly sell for $5k over MSRP. Ford absolutely botched this

According to whose perspective? If they are putting money before customers...then they haven't botched a thing, really.

My build week was supposed to be 11/1. I guess I`ll be waiting longer.

Did you get a email from Ford saying that moved the build date?

I have been priority code 10 since July and still nothing. Maybe this week but probably not.

I feel that I have contributed to the overarching despair and fatalism that has pervaded this forum. And so long as I don’t think about that, I can’t feel guilty. Very Schrodinger’s cat-ish of me.

The reality is…none of us know what is going on and the whole process (much like life, itself, in general the past few years) is pretty absurd.

…I keep mentioning Albert Camus on this forum and his ”I found within me an eternal summer” sort of approach to the absurdity of it all — but I’m beginning to believe most of us here might be more Kafka-esque in that regard….

Well I ordered a 2.0 ecoboost first edition rapid red on 6/8/21 and still haven't heard anything and I did get my order confirmation email on 9th of June

No but with material delays and chip shortage I wouldn't be surprised.

Well Ford isn’t making any more money, their dealers are. So by any customer service or profit metric, they botched it.
