I can't say enough good things about the hood strut kit from Redline Tuning! It's under $100, raises the hood 2" higher than the factory prop rod, made in the USA and has a 4 year warranty! I wouldn't risk my hood to some cheap Chinese struts...

I also prefer the Redline Tuning system as you only need to loosen one of the two bolts on the hood hinge to use their bracket. This insures that you don't lose the factory alignment of your hood. (y)
