I would think that either a document with physical measurements or a .STL file replica of the interface piece on the vehicle would be provided. People (like myself) who prototype aftermarket car parts for 3-D printing often use measurements taken off existing components or .STL file replicas...

Thanks. Until I get my truck, I guess I'll keep an eye on this thread, then. When I develop one, I'll post a .stl file on thingieverse.com

Does anyone know where I can find the mount measurements needed to create a 3-D printed cupholder? Basically, I need the mounting slot dimensions and the distance from the mounting slot to the edge of the mounting surface. Slot depth would be nice but not necessary...
