I'd like to weigh in here. I've had my Mav for 2 months. I've found that idling absolutely kills the mpg as it corresponds to the dte. Having Fords since, forever.... I think this may be a glitch in Ford's software for the Maverick. I've never had one be so sensitive to a few min of idling...
Yes I did it all myself. There is one little thing to grind on the edge of the bottom of the strut for clearance of the axle. Sounds silly but the grinding actually gives u back the factory clearance distance between the strut and the axle. Im pretty certain that it wouldn't really ever hit.
I ordered my Mav on 9/11. Ford emailed me with a pro date of 11/8 Surprisingly it was done being built on 11/11 and shipped on the 13th. It took a bit to arrive to Central Jersey. 11/30 to be exact. I took delivery 12/4. I guess I was lucky. I've been reading the nightmares since the start

2" Rough country lift. 245/70/17 BFG trail terrain tires. Love the look, not sure if I love the ride quality change. Gonna let it break in and see what happens in the future. Also added the AVS aero skin. Lost about 1 mpg so far. Time will tell.
