Update on my situation... I've tested this a few times now and it seems to happen with the key or the remote start. I thought it was just the remote start at first... Now I can confirm it doesn't matter if you start it yourself with the key.

Good to know. We weren't presented that option. I think the sales team was pretty new still and uninformed. In either case my situation is from the app. Not sure if anyone with remotely starting from the key fob makes a difference.

This was my same issue. It seems to happen to me the most when I remote start in the morning. Cold start... After the 10min mark. I get the pulsing noise from the engine RPM's and then a foul rotten egg smell. If I shut the car off and restart it, the engine smooths out and the smell goes away...

Unfortunately they didn't have any input. In fact they didn't really care. It wasn't acting up and there weren't any codes. So that means everything is fine!

Update - The dealer received a response from the Ford tech hotline. Unfortunately it was simply " duplicate the concern, check for codes and report back" I can't get it to duplicate when I bring the vehicle in and there aren't any codes pulling up / CEL isn't coming on. So basically i'm SOL and...

I stopped by the Ford dealership and explained my situation to the service manager. He involved the lead tech and we agreed it was best to submit a tech ticket to engineer team letting them know of my rotten egg smell during remote start. I doubt anything will come of it but at least it's...
